About 200 middle schoolers attended the second 5th Quarter Lock-in event, hosted by IGH SPARC and IGH Parks and Recreation.

IGH Parks and Recreation earned an MPRA Award of Excellence for the 5th Quarter event they organized with IGH SPARC! The event provided positive activities for middle school students and garnered 200 participants.

Simley High School students spoke at an Inver Grove Heights City Council meeting to ask for a ban on flavored tobacco products in the city.

National motivational speaker Cory Greenwood visited Simley High School, Inver Grove Heights Middle School, and the Inver Grove Heights community to share stories about mental health, positive decision-making, leadership, and connection.
